About

I have been a nurse practitioner for over twenty-five years. I most recently completed my DNP and graduated from Chamberlain University with a 4.0 GPA. My background is diverse and includes experience in geriatrics, multiple surgical specialties, trauma, medicine, addictions, and nursing administration I am board certified in acute care as an NP and critical care as an RN.   

I have extensive experience working in urban trauma centers and with vulnerable populations including those with chronic diseases and geriatric patients. I have held a variety of leadership positions within the nursing field and am therefore highly attuned to the issues facing administrators and all levels of care providers.

I have conducted research and data analysis at the master’s and doctoral levels, and my recent research has been accepted for publication in a scholarly journal. My work has also been accepted as a poster presentation for a professional conference.
